What is ChoiceFall?

ChoiceFall is an interactive fiction game you play in your browser. There is no download and no account. You read a scene, make a choice, and follow the path that opens—knowing another path closed behind you.

The experience is a choice-based branching narrative: hundreds of routes through hand-built scenes, with dozens of endings waiting at the bottom of the fall.

What makes it different?

Every scene and choice is hand-authored. ChoiceFall is not procedurally generated filler—it is a labyrinth of decisions written on purpose, including the awkward ones.

Inspired by classic interactive fiction like Zork, it leans into strange turns, dark humor, and the feeling that the story is watching what you pick.

Written by a human. No AI.

Choices and consequences

Some choices change the next line of dialogue. Others echo much later—locking routes, opening doors you forgot existed, or steering you toward an ending you did not see coming.

With 1,037 hand-built scenes, 65 endings, and hundreds of distinct routes, most players will never see the same path twice. Replayability is part of the design.

Built for the browser

ChoiceFall runs as a browser game. Open the site, accept the content warning if you are ready, and start playing—no installers, stores, or sign-up walls.

That keeps the focus on the branching narrative itself: scenes, choices, consequences, and endings.

Project background

ChoiceFall was made with love during a bipolar episode as a cathartic way of dealing with a difficult mental state. It is intended for mature audiences.

It contains excessive violence, themes of suicide, self harm, sexual assault, and bad taste. If you are sensitive to these themes, proceed with caution.
